DEG PGR Conference 2024
I recently had the pleasure of helping to organise the 2024 Department of Environment & Geography's Post Graduate Research Conference in York. This event marked the first big milestone of my PhD journey - a poster presentation! It was great to be able to share my research objectives and gain feedback on different perspectives and ideas. It was also a great opportunity to see how much is involved in conference organisng!

Special thanks to the Keynote speakers, Giovanna Massei, Hannah Little, and Rob Bennett (and of course my other organising committee members).
Me presenting the poster that earned the 2024 best poster award.

Day 2 was broken up with a well-needed wellbeing walk across the University of York campus. As environment and geography students, we should be some of the most aware people about the benefits of greenspace and how going outdoors is so important to mental and physical wellbeing. However, I'm sure so many of us, myself included, are guilty of forgetting this! The wellbeing walk was a reminder to slow down and take some time for mindfullness.
